About Us

What we do

The Pepper Pot Centre offers a wide range of culturally sensitive services designed to meet the social, emotional, physical and psychological needs of our members. Our work is rooted in respect and cultural pride.

Our Core Services

  • Community Support: We pool community resources to meet the socio‑cultural, physical, emotional and psychological needs of elders, promoting a high quality of life.

  • Culturally Specific Services: While our focus is on Caribbean, African and BME elders, our services are open to all communities across the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and neighbouring boroughs.

  • Day Care & Drop‑In Services: Members can join us for structured day care or simply drop in for companionship, activities and a hot meal.

  • Recreational & Wellbeing Activities: We offer a rich programme including outings, exchange visits, celebrating members birthdays, music and dance therapy, Christmas celebrations, games, arts and crafts, technology sessions, and exercise classes. We also provide activities focused on dementia support, physical and mental health, and overall wellbeing.

  • Practical services including transport, freshly prepared meals, outreach, medical support, and care assistance.

  • Healthy Ageing: Our services promote independence, wellbeing and social connection, helping reduce the need for hospitalisation and long‑term care.
