Volunteers

Are you a school leaver, a new graduate, and energetic retired person or someone with time to spare and the will to engage in rewarding voluntary work? Pepper Pot Day Centre welcomes applications from volunteers.
All business areas of The Pepper Pot Day Centre benefit from extra help and input of skills – from office administration, practical activities, trip organisation, care services and catering (meal preparation and food serving) to fund-raising. Each section is important to our mission to empower the elderly and a volunteer can make a truly positive impact by offering their services.
No specific qualifications are necessary. Hours can be flexible, Applicants will be DBS checked.

Olivia is from Madison, Wisconsin, studying International Studies and Sociology. "We studied abroad in London in our 1st year of University through a program called FiE. This program connected us with service learning opportunities such as the Pepper Pot. We volunteered weekly at the Pepper Pot for seven weeks and loved every moment! Getting to know the members and seeing all the good the Centre does has truly been amazing and inspiring."
