Volunteers play a vital role in supporting the Pepper Pot Centre. We welcome individuals in a variety of roles, including driving, computing support, catering, administration, activity coordination and care services. We offer flexible hours, and all volunteers receive a DBS check. To apply, please contact the Centre or download our volunteer application form.

Volunteer Stories - Olivia Farris & Liana Lima: University of Wisconsin–Madison

Olivia and Liana joined the Pepper Pot Centre while studying abroad in London through a programme called FiE, which connects students with community service opportunities.

  • Liana, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is studying Psychology.

  • Olivia, from Madison, Wisconsin, is studying International Studies and Sociology.

“We studied abroad in London in our first year of university through a programme called FiE. This programme connected us with service‑learning opportunities such as the Pepper Pot. We volunteered weekly at the Centre for seven weeks and loved every moment. Getting to know the members and seeing all the good the Centre does have truly been amazing and inspiring.”
